This was painted during a conference with Kent Henry as the speaker. He is such a father and an encourager to the body of Christ. Really, he's a psalmist. I kept wondering how the painting was bringing any kind of encouragement as it seemed so desolate. In my heart I wanted a "happy painting." He validated what God dropped in my heart, sharing that it was a picture of the season he was in. Who would know that a man carrying such a gift of encouragement would need to be encouraged. That changed my life and is often to how I feel. Even the encouragers need to be encouraged.
