(Painted at a conference at Freedom Christian Center)

I started painting this in the second session and ran out of time. It's a blue door, representing revelation. It's weathered. I only finished the open door part of the painting during the second session and inquired of the Lord what was to fill the opening. There were so many things that could be painted...

When worship started for the third session, a papa of the house and in my life, Mr. Bud, walked up to the platform, and called my name. When I turned, he motioned for me to come over to him.

He had something to share with me: "I now know why you didn't paint gates and you painted an open door. It's a portal. It needed to be painted before the gates could be opened."

God, thank you for your fathers and mothers set in your body. Thank you for the heritage you have placed within them to guide and instruct this younger part of the generation alive today.

I forever honor you, Mr. Bud and Mrs. Gene, for your amazing love, insight and passion for this Man named Jesus and for His bride, called the church.
