“Abraham’s Promise,- Seed of Abraham” by Denise Neumann, 2008.© 18”x24” acrylic on canvas
When God called Abraham to leave that which he knew for a promised land, Abraham obeyed. Years later, after lot departed, God brought Abraham outside to look up at the stars and count them (if he could). God promised “… So shall your descendants be.”(Genesis 15:5) At that moment, God reminded Abraham of a vision: “… and I will make nations of you and kings shall come from you…and you shall be circumcised in the flesh…” (Genesis 17:6,11)
God gives vision. He can impregnate us with that vision, and it will burn within our being as He also prepares us to walk out that vision. Oftentimes, the very thing in the natural which can make it possible to bring forth that promise, can be told to be cut out of our lives. God delights in faith. To lay down our agendas and to believe sometimes looks foolish. If you look, God will confirm the vision to encourage you along the journey of its fulfillment.
