"Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights!" (Isaiah 42:1)
I was asked to create a drawing for a conference on justice, I agreed, but as I pondered what that would look like, a flood of questions came into my head: How do you paint God's Justice? What does that look like?
When studying for this painting, I knew that He didn't want people to feel condemned, but understand that He is passionate for His bride. He is looking for those that will have that cry in their hearts as He has in His for His redeemed. Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit are looking for those that will turn away from their worthless idols and find and seek to understand Him as the Righteous Judge. Those that will present themselves before their Creator and allow that which is not of Him to be purged. Things that hold us prisoner will be set free. Things that are in darkness will be brought to light. A Holy passion for His Son that we have yet to understand and comprehend is being released.
