“Finest Hour,” 2007.©

During the five years of what is now this collection, came some of the most intimate moments and life lessons with the Father for which I will be forever grateful. This collection of work was created during a "Dark Night of the Soul." Having faced a hard situation, my life was left turned upside down with two young children. I found myself with so many unknowns and not many answers, but I had my faith.

Slowly, we picked up the pieces. I was asked to start painting live (a media I was not good at, as I was an illustrator), and let the Lover of my soul into the deep recesses of my heart that had been walled off. It was this journey where I learned to face fears, shortcomings, weaknesses, yet found joy, strength, comfort, and wisdom.
